We are so pleased to be included in the Outdoor Style section of the May 2023 issue of Style at Home.
We share not one, but two outdoor spaces we designed for our client’s Toronto home. If you are looking for inspiration for how to maximize your outdoor space it is full of great ideas and an abundance of inspiration.
It includes a small city backyard that was designed to be an extension of the home from inside to outside and is full of built-ins and multi-functional pieces to maximize space. Through thoughtful planning, we were able to include a plunge pool, a day bed for lounging, sunken bench seating around a gas fire pit and an outdoor kitchen in a city-sized backyard.
With the limited square footage in the backyard, the flat portion of the home’s roof was maximized with the addition of a new rooftop patio. It is the perfect place to lounge and relax or entertain and enjoy the city views. This private oasis is outfitted with upholstered teak-framed seating for larger groups and a custom-slatted bar unit that allows for entertaining with ease and ample storage.
